Five weeks left... no, even less than five weeks; in five weeks I'll already be back home.
It's a little strange, you know. When I came here I wasn't that enthusiastic at all. I most definitely recall the wish to hit myself (which was rather silly, because eleven weeks isn't that long).
And now, after a little more than five weeks, I really like it here. I like being really alone for the first time of my life. Being on my own. No need to explain when and how and why I do things the way I do them. There are hardly any things I have to do - and it feels great.
Don't get me wrong, I love my family (well, at least part or it) and my friends, but it's nice being on my own and having much time for myself. I hardly even miss TV. ;)
Well, the "exams" last week went well enough. Grammar wasn't that difficult (and part of my mistakes were really stupid ones. I don't know why I made them. Pf.), and History was easy. Very nice... and I didn't have to feel bad for not studying. :)
(I've never seen so many magpies before. Never ever. It's a good thing I'm not supersticious *g*)
I don't know why but at the moment I'm spending very much money shopping (can I blame that on hormones??) - two trousers (I simply couldn't resist. I can't recall the last time two trousers really fit without any problems), a shirt and one of those dress/tunika thingies. Very nice. ;)
