Whoooosh, I say!
May. 21st, 2012 02:31 pmDamn, time's flying, it's crazy.
I ordered new book shelves (and now I'm waiting ...), will go to Greece (yaaay!), started a new scarf (man, the pattern is crazy!! But pretty. Still I spend an insane amount of time unpicking. Now I'm at the ... seventh? try) ...
:)
Another thing on my mind - cloth pads. Well.
When I first heard about cloth pads, my reaction was "WHUT?! Eww!" And then I forgot about it. But somehow ... I'm wondering. It's become really, really difficult to find pads without this disgusting plastic stuff on top. And so I wonder if cloth wouldn't be much more comfy. Especially considering the maximun I get is medium flow.
So. Maybe I'll try my hand at sewing cloth pads. Weird, really. I mean, my mom told me stories about how much she hated having to use cloth pads and those icky sanitary belts when she was a teen. And now I'm considering using them voluntarily. :)
And now enough talk about wimminstuff. :)

Back again!
Oct. 2nd, 2008 01:22 pmAnd hell, yes, it was awesome. It was wonderful to be there once again - I love the language, we went to awesome places; it was really, really great.
So, I got a tan (yay!), went shopping, had fun, didn't spend more money than I had planned, and A liked her present. Sounds like good two weeks.
So, now I have to get started on all that thesis stuff. *sighs*
But knowing myself, reading and playing around will take a lot of time out of this. :)

So... ignoring my fever (which wasn't really a fever, but what else are you supposed to call it?) does the trick, I suppose.
I declare myself fit for going on a holiday. :)
My mood isn't the best, I must admit and I'm not sure I really, really WANT to go... but I guess it's good for me and we've been planning this forever and it probably will be wonderful.
So.
:)
Things to do:
give B the stuff so she can apply for me
plan what to pack
get addresses of the people I want to write to
make sure Mom's got all the addresses of the places we'll be staying.

Oh. My. God.
She's trying to drive me insane. And she's succeeding. It's amazing how much one person can TALK without having anything to say.
Why won't she shut up? I have work to do. I have to write a paper and have to conventrate. But hey, her problems are so much more important than anything I might worry about.
Really, sometimes I hate her.
Any these two weeks are, in a way, holiday for me, too. Or at least they're supposed to be. I mean, I am finally alone for two weeks, have no one to tell where I'm going or what I'm doing or why. Only in theory, though.
Bwha.
