May. 4th, 2012 04:46 pmStill watching my holidays in Greece go down the drain. Meh.
Yesterday I stayed home because of my stomach - that was a gooood idea, honestly. It's loads better today (again) and I'm hoping it'll stay that way.
Last week my "new" Kindle arrived. The other one's display somehow self-destroyed (well, maybe I helped a little by putting it in my handbag, but really, I wasn't careless or something. I think), so Amazon was awesomely consumer-friendly (or maybe realistic) and sent me a replacement. And I spent Friday evening and Saturday afternoon making my own shiny little Kindle-bed. Wheee. Crafts! I was too lazy to make a pattern or anything - cardboard, bubble wrap, velcro, thin felt (very yellow) and some fabric (black with white dots) - and voilĂ (well, some superglue was also involved. A tiny bit, really). And it's really nifty!
This time I (so far) put only the manuscripts for work on it - no fanfiction. My desperate (and (to my surprise) moderately working) try to cut down the time spent reading fanfic when I should read our books. Heh.
And I lost the USB cable for my camera, major fail. :(
And I seriously need bookshelves, like five or six metres of them, with all those books and CDs heaped in my room - it's starting to get on my nerves, and that's really saying something. Usually I'm pretty zen about stuff like that. :) But now I really, really want shelves!! Like, now. :)
