Our Prof was talking about Tizian's Venus and the flowers she has in her hand...

Prof: I asked a friend of mine - she's is a bioligst - what flowers really are. A almost fell off my chair.
We: *snicker*
Prof: Do you know what flowers really are?
We: silence
Prof: She told me that flowers are the genitals of plants. Flowers make love just like animals or humans; they just don't have legs.
We: *grin*
Prof: And maybe now you'll understand why I almost fell off my chair. I suddenly realized that for years I had given women as a present the genitals of plants. How nice.
We: *giggle*
