So. There are only a few hours of 2005 left...
It wasn’t a bad year, but not a wonderful one, either. I t was okay, I guess. It started very nasty, got a little better and then... well. The last months weren’t that much fun.
I’m very grateful for some new friendships; kindred spirits in a way.
I’m grateful that I didn’t lose someone close this year either.
I most definitely could have done without being ill every few months, but it wasn’t anything too serious (and my neck finally has gotten better, yay!).
And not to forget that I passed my ZP. And that my new Russian teacher is better than the last one.
Picking boring courses and readings this semester is mostly my fault...
I suppose this was a year of people leaving. Not leaving for good, but leaving for some time and thus changing our friendships. But at least at the end of the year one of them came back, and I can say that at least this friendship didn’t take a turn for the worse.
Beside that I have been a bad girl. I neither bought nor read Halfblood Prince. The main reason being that I really didn’t like Order of the Phoenix – I nearly stopped reading it, it fact; and that made me a little sceptical.
And this year I changed my „main“ fandom; I somehow lost interest in Harry Potter fanfiction (I still like a nice Snarry from time to time; and my favourite stories/authors are still the same) and started reading Lord of the Rings fanfiction.
But basically my obsessions are still the same. ^_^
So. I can’t really complain about this year, but I wouldn’t mind if the next one would be a little better, either
A happy New Year to all of you...
... and I'm looking forward to "Hair". A very nice way to celebrate the end of the year. ^_^
