Easter’s over. We – my parents and I – spent the holidays in a lovely small town. The weather was fabulous, the town more than quiet and we were more than lazy. ;)
We dozed, sat in the sun, went for walks, read and watched TV – so when we returned home we were relaxed.
But not for too long. We hardly had walked in when my grandmother came, sat down and told us she had fallen down – not idea where, no idea when – and had a blackout.
You know, I’m not saying that she did it on purpose. But the same thing happened last Easter, too, and afterwards she was complaining that she couldn’t cope with being alone.
Alone? My uncle, aunt and cousins were there for two of the three days. And my parents are there all the time – they need some time away from everything. But no, The Lady can’t cope with being alone.
When the doctor came and told her she had a slight concussion she obviously was disappointed that it wasn’t a stroke. And I’m not joking here.
